Soundsense Interactive Punctuation Course

The brief was to construct a prototype version for publishers to fully understand the structure and scope of a fully polished CD.

The CD is constructed using Macromedia Flash, allowing the Soundsense Course to be easily viewed either through a Flash Player or using a flash plugin on an internet browser. Both supplied on the CD with the presentation. The beauty of using Flash is that files sizes are kept very small and chapters could also be distributed over the internet for download or password access. Small interactive sections and quizzes within the chapters are designed to be quickly updated and changed to keep the CD fresh and interesting.

The visual style for the prototype version was kept very simplistic so as not to distract from the narration and overall structure of the course. As well as keeping costs to a minimum for the prototype version.

This approach to a presentation can be adapted to suit a number of different requirements. The interactivity and the potential to link directly to the web for up to the minute information is very powerful tool for companies to exploit.
